La Cérémonie du Bois-Caïman
Wilson Bigaud "La Cérémonie du Bois-Caïman"
Painting Description:
“This estate piece was painted by the famous first generation artist Wilson Bigaud. The painting depicts the ceremony at the Bois Caïman. This event is regarded as the start of the Haïtian Revolution. In 1971, a Jamaican Voodoo priest by the name of Boukman conducted the ceremony that would spark the slave revolt in Haïti. This is an early work of the artist and it is fully guaranteed to be the original work of the artist. ”
