Raymond Dorleans

Raymond Dorleans was born on March 2, 1947 in Hinche, Haiti. He is considered one of Haiti's leading artists. Raymond is a very skilled designer and sketch artist. He began painting with Edgar Brierre and had his art exhibit in 1973. His work is characterized by dark blue green landscapes with bright figures. His works can be found in many private art collections worldwide. Illustrations of his painting can be seen in Gérald Alexis book, “Peintres Haïtien” and John Allen Franciscus' book, "Haiti Voodoo Kingdom To Modern Riviera".

The rainbow is a symbol of Gods faithfulness and mercy. In the "rainbow around the throne," ( Revelation 4:3 ) is seen the symbol of hope and the bright emblem of mercy and love, all the more true as a symbol because it is reflected from the storm itself. This painting is signed and housed within a fine antique wooden frame. This painting is guaranteed to be the original work of the artist.
