He moved to Port-au-Prince in 1971, where Philton Latortue an established Haitian artist, and a friend and distant cousin - encouraged him pursue his dream of being an artist. By 1972 he had established a relationship with the Centre d’Art and sold his first painting. His work has been both locally and abroad.
